Terms of use
What this service is, and what you are responsible for.
Adjust
The short version
This site gives you a converter that runs in your browser. It is free, it needs no account, and it never receives your files. In return: use it lawfully, do not attack it, and understand that it is provided as it is, with no promise that it will work for your particular file.
What you are agreeing to
By using this site you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. These terms were last changed on 31 August 2026.
What the service is
The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg. No file you convert is transmitted to this site or to anyone else. There is no account, no stored history, and nothing for you to delete. The privacy page describes this in full and every claim on it is one you can verify yourself.
Your files are your responsibility
You are responsible for the audio you convert and for having the right to convert it. Do not use this site to copy material you have no licence to copy, to remove technical protection from a file, or to process recordings of other people where the law requires their consent and you do not have it. Because nothing is uploaded, this site holds no copy of your audio and cannot inspect, moderate, retain or return it.
What is not allowed
- Using the site in a way that breaks the law where you are.
- Attempting to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the servers that host it.
- Republishing the site's pages, text or recordings as your own.
- Presenting the site, or something built from it, as being operated by or affiliated with anyone it is not.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Conversion is not guaranteed to succeed, to preserve metadata, or to produce a file of any particular quality. Very large files are limited by your own device's memory rather than by any rule here.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, this site and its operator are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from any file it produced. Keep your original files. Converting never modifies the source, and keeping it is the only backup this arrangement can offer you.
Availability and changes
The site may change, move or stop being available at any time and without notice. These terms may change as well; the date above records the last change, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
Other people's software
FFmpeg is licensed by its own authors under the LGPL/GPL and is used here unmodified, served from this site rather than from a third party. This page does not grant you any rights to it beyond running it in your browser as part of this site; its own licence governs everything else.
Copyright and abuse
To report a copyright concern, abuse of the site, or a security problem, write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the page or behaviour in question. Reports are read by a person.
Please note what this site can and cannot act on: it hosts no user files, no uploads and no user accounts, so a report about a converted file is not something there is any copy of here to remove. Reports about this site's own pages are actionable, and are acted on.
