What this site knows about you

Nothing is uploaded. The conversion runs here, on this device.

All conversions

Your audio never leaves this device

The conversion runs inside your browser. Your file is read from disk by the page, converted in memory, and written back to your downloads. It is never uploaded, so there is no copy of it on any server to keep, leak, or delete.

You do not have to take that on trust. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and convert a file: you will see the converter itself download once, and no request carrying your audio.

No account, no cookies, no analytics

There is nothing to sign up for. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing about you. It runs no analytics and no advertising, so there is no profile of your visit anywhere.

The page cannot contact anyone else

This site is served with a content security policy of default-src 'self'. That is a rule your own browser enforces: it refuses any request from this page to any other domain. There are no third-party scripts, no fonts loaded from elsewhere, no trackers — and the policy means none could be added without the browser blocking them.

What the host necessarily sees

Like any website, the server that sends you these pages records the ordinary things a web server records: the address you requested, your IP address, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. That is how the site reaches you at all. It contains no audio and nothing about what you converted, because that information never travels.

Storage on your own machine

The converter is a large file, so your browser caches it after the first use. That cache sits on your own device and is cleared whenever you clear your browser's site data. Nothing else is stored.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if analytics or advertising are ever added — this page changes first, and the security policy above would have to be loosened to allow it.
